Who are we?

ROSCO COACH BUILDERS was established in 2018, branching out from a well-established South African company, with the aim of being the lead manufacturer of emergency and response vehicles. Our conversions are distributed to various companies such as the South African Police Service, local and provincial traffic authorities, municipal fire & medical services, private medical services, construction, security and mining industries, as well as many local private sectors.

Our research and development unit makes it possible for our company to be ahead in terms of new technology and equipment at all times.
We manufacture our products internationally as per
the customer’s specifications, with assembly and engineering taking place in South Africa, making us a proudly South African company.

Scope of Work

FURNITURE:

A sheet-material of an inner, 3mm polycarbonate composite, covered both sides with a pre-coloured 0.4mm aluminium material is used for a perfect finish.
This material can be conformed and shaped to fit specific needs.
All straight and corner profiles are specially designed to form an integral part of the exterior structure that also seals perfectly against moist and dust.
3-D corners are moulded, plastic or rubber inserts to finish and hold 2 or 3 profiles together.
The complete structure is held together by self- sealing, Stainless-Steel bolts and nuts.
Additional adhesive and sealing materials are used for extra strength and sealing capabilities.
The assembly and disassembling are made easy and building time is reduced to the bare minimum.
This new age structure is only 30% the weight of a similar steel structure.
All cupboards and structures are fitted to an Electro galvanised floor and holse are laser cut proir to installation for easy mounting and proper sealing.

Floor:

The floor will be constructed from a 3-part electro-galvanised plate. Shaped to the contour of the mounting done by making use of the factory fitted fixture points.
No major changes to the vehicle are needed it can further be covered with a watertight, polyurethane rubber layer, available in a variety of colours available.
It will be fully floored with all the walls in order to ensure it to be watertight.

Stretcher:

The stretcher is an optional item and can be specified or specified and supplied by the user.
The following options are available and will be fitted to the vehicles as part of the conversion.

UPHOLSTERY:

Upholstery will be done according to the client’s specification and corporate colours.
All seats and benches with point approved seat belts.
A seat with a lid could be fitted to the one side of the load body together with either 1 or 2 attendant seats.

LIGHTING ACCESSORIES:

Interior lighting will be incorporated into the conversion consisting of 2-3 LED lights, flush mounted to the hood- lining of the vehicle.
Emergency lights could also be fitted as part of the conversion to client’s specifications.
Oxygen system will be fitted to approved standards complete with Heyer type outlet, bullnose regulator and double flow meter.
IV hooks will be fitted at strategic places.
